Christine: Wife, mother, grandmother, I am a nurse by trade, but find myself a wannabe cook, gardener, DIYer and rescuer of all homeless dogs. Having said all that, welcome to my world, you never know what you might find here, but at some time I'm sure it will be something you can relate to! If you are wondering where the title of this blog came from, read on- A few years ago the founder of the company I worked for visited my clinic, in an effort to impress him with my professional accomplishments, I spent 20 minutes outlining the clinic's successes and changes I had implemented. I found out later that his only comment was that I reminded him of a "well preserved beauty queen". It has long since been a standing joke amongst my coworkers.
